Fashion Tips: Petite Fit Guide

Recently, I found someone like me — PETITE like me and also, like clothing.  Jean, the petite behind Extra Petite blog, she really knows what a difference petite-proportioned clothes can make.

You might be PETITE (like me) if you…..

Are 5’4″ or under or are 5’4″ AND OVER and

  • find full length often means floor-length
  • find long sleeves require a roll or two
  • find pant rises fall way too low
  • visit your tailor more often than your parents

Learn some “tricks” and what fits well for petite — even if you’re not but your clients might be.

Little Black Jacket in Shanghai

The Little Black Jacket exhibition CHANEL’s classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld was held in Shanghai several months ago following several stops in major cities such as New York, London, Paris and Tokyo.  It showcases over 100 shots of its classic jacket worn and adapted differently by luminaries such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Song Hye Kyo and Vanessa Paradis, including 21 new images captured by Lagerfeld.
